About You About You

I am a Chistian musician, with some classical training, but mostly play contemporary worship music. I grew up in in a Christian family, and I have been playing in my local churches since I was a teenager. I’ve been exposed to different instruments in the basic rhythm session, but I finally settled on the keyboard. My wife and I used to Lead worship together in the 90’s.

My early musical influences growing up had been David Meece, Michael W. Smith and Phill Driscoll. These days, I have a lot of respect for Matt Redman and Chris Tomlin, among other Worship Leaders.

During my teenage years in Puerto Rico, I mostly played by ear. It wasn’t until I arrived in Colorado that I decided to expand my musical skills. I took private Piano Lessons, then auditioned and was accepted into the piano program at Metro State University in Denver. I studied music theory and piano performance for two years until my GI Bill ran out. I’ve played at Colorado Community Church in Aurora – where I am a member, and as a paid guest musician at Cross Culture Church in Denver and South Holy Church in Centennial.
I do have experience playing with multi-tracks, and in ear monitors.

Roland RD700 with laptop to use along with Main Stage software. Audio interface and direct box for stereo output, also in ear monitors for.
I also own my own Playback account with multi-tracks, if needed.

I am looking for a band with skills similar to mine, a place where I can grow musically, and also make some new friends. More importantly, a group of musicians that understand the importance of Worship Music.
