About You About You

Primary instrument is voice and grew up in choirs and doing musicals. Pursued undergrad degree in voice performance in Opera. But I can modify my tone and timbre and do not sound like an opera singer singing worship music 🙂 I also picked up guitar a few years ago to lead our women’s music ministry band when the former leader stepped down. God is at the center of any kind of music and I sense his presence most when making music with others, especially worship and praise music.
Influences Influences

As the youngest of 4 daughters with musically gifted parents, I have been influenced by all genres of music from the 1950’s (from my parents to present). In my formative years, I gravitated toward vocalists and always hoped I would learn guitar someday. I’m particularly drawn to fingerstyle guitar and very much enjoy Phil Keagy, for example.

Sang in choirs and musicals through high school. Earned my bachelor degree in Voice Performance at Temple University College of Music. Started singing with worships teams in 2011 with exposure to Contemporary Christian music. Paused for a few years for grad school (MBA) and relocated to CA where I resumed with a worship team in 2015. Tapped to lead the women’s ministry band and learned guitar to lead worship and the band.
