I’m Dwayne Lacey. I’ve been married for 33 years with three kids and one new grandchild. I believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and want to use my talents and abilities to serve Him and others. I’m an IT professional with management responsibilities in the Atlanta area and across the country. I’m a healthy 53 year-old that has maintained my weight and stayed in good physical condition. I can assimilate to different age groups and relate well to all types of musical venues – in fact, I enjoy the variety. |

I listen to Passion City Church, Elevation Worship, Hillsong, Bethel Music, Third Day, Casting Crowns, etc. I enjoy 90’s Country – mainly for the creativity, skill and influence of the musicians – Brent Mason, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, etc. I enjoy some classic rock as well. I’ve blended many styles and experiences to create my own approach to playing and creating music. |

I play electric guitar (lead or rhythm) and acoustic (traditional or finger style). I can cover lead vocals as well and have led worship in various settings as needed. I’ve played in the orchestra at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL for maybe 2 years, Immanuel Baptist Church in Pace, FL for roughly 4 years or so to help create a contemporary worship service, and I’ve played lead guitar for Southside Church in Athens, Ga for about 8 years with worship leader Chris Peevy (formerly with Echoing Angels). I also covered lead guitar for John Waller during his concert at Southside a few year’s back. I do private events such as weddings, anniversaries and outdoors events through “dlstages” referenced above. I’m self-taught, along with additional training on different styles – most recently classical and popular lead guitar through the Georgia School of Music in Jefferson, Ga. |

I have classical and traditional acoustic guitars, Carvin and Fender electric guitars, a Fender Deluxe reverb tube amp as well as a Fender Cyber Twin, pedal board with drive pedals, compression, delay, reverb, wireless receiver, etc. I also have a Bose L1 PA system with Allen & Heath mixer for personal performances. |

I’m mainly looking to play guitar within a worship band at various churches or settings in middle and North Georgia. I would be interested in filling in at various churches. I’m experienced with the Planning Center App and practicing and playing with loops to be ready for Sunday worship services. I would also be interested in playing for artists who need to put together a band in the area and also getting started in a studio setting in the future… |
