I play African djembe drums, unique bells, shakers, Native American flutes, a little guitar (I’m best if someone else is playing chords and I’m backing them up with notes on my classical guitar) and sing backup vocals.
My favorite types of music are Jazz, Latin, Afro-Latin Deep House, but I’ve played with several different bands and lots of musical styles and it’s all good.
I’ve done two hour flute soaks where I play just Native American flute and light guitar and lead the room in prayers and worship.
I’ve done all day vertical worship events where I play and sing for up to 8 hours.
If the event allows for only 30 minutes to an hour of play, I like to stay in Orange County close to Newport/Costa Mesa/Irvine area.  But if the event allows for more time of worship, I’m willing to travel further.
I already have commitments for Tues, Weds and Sunday nights, but have things that I can move around for other days/nights.
I hold backyard fire pit praise parties (I have a couple of fire pits and lots of chairs and we just gather round and worship) in the large back yard where I live in the John Wayne airport area.  I’ve been averaging one a month, but would love to do more if I can find worship leads.
