About You About You

My father was a Pentecostal pastor so I grew up in close proximity to worship bands and concert ministry in the 70s. I moved to Europe after high school to study and be part of a church planting team. I got heavily involved in worship ministry as part of a big church network, playing drums at large conferences. I went on to study drums and percussion at Musicians Institute in California and then my MA Theology at University of Birmingham, UK. I toured for many years with British Youth for Christ bands doing over 1500 gigs around Europe. We continued to be part of large event worship gatherings in the UK. In 1998 my wife and I started Nexus Institute of Creative Arts which has now been running for 21 years. We run a BA combined honours degree in music and worship that is fully accredited by the London College of Music/University of West London. We have had over 1000 students attend from 50+ countries. I taught drums initially, moving on to be Head of Biblical Studies and now am involved in strategic development and partnership.
