About You
Hello, my name is Jonathan Foster, and I am a drummer in Phoenix, AZ. I began playing drums when I was 10 in elementary school band. I self-taught myself to play drum set when I was 13 years old, when I was gifted with my very first drum set. I began playing worship music when I was 17 years old with the church I was attending at that time. It started with me in the youth group band and then followed up with playing every Sunday with the Contemporary Worship team when I was 18. I played with this group for 3 years and then left in 2005. After that I subbed for another church for a couple of months. It wasn’t until 2012 when I answered an ad for a worship drummer, and I’ve been at my current church ever since.

Playing around with various bands in Phoenix such as Johnny Anonymous as a Sub Drummer. Sub work for a band called Chuck E Baby & the All-Stars and was their featured drummer for Sunday Night Jam Sessions. Played in Church Worship bands from 2001-2006 and 2012-present. Full-time member of a local Country Artist Calvin Rainwater, where we played Gilley’s Bar in Las Vegas a couple of times. Current band that I play with is The Rolling Cajonez.
