About Your Band
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Parish is beginning the process of bringing contemporary music into Mass. I personally have been directing praise and worship bands in various churches for over 20 years.

Our Lady’s Praise Band will use CCLI’s SongSelect Liturgy Planning tool as a guide. We currently use the GIA Gather Third Edition.

Our Lady’s Praise Band will lead worship at Our Lady of the Lake, as well as play at our annual weekend festival in September. I personally have played at various churches and events across the upper Midwest and Great Lakes regions. I have a degree in music education from Luther College and a degree in theology from Wartburg Theological Seminary.

We are in the process of upgrading our sound system. We have various musical instruments available, as Our Lady also has a parochial school.

What Are You Looking For?
We are looking for volunteer music ministers who respect Catholic tradition AND appreciate current praise and worship styles. One of Our Lady’s stated goals is to become a “regional hub” for ministry, which means that Our Lady’s Praise Band will ultimately strive to be a resource as well as a house band. Songwriters and clinicians as well as great musicians are welcome to apply!
