About You
I started playing music over 55 years. I played Jesus Freak music in the 70’s, traditional music and acoustic. Started modern Praise Band in 1996 at Hill-n Dale Christian Church in Lexington, KY. Played there until Broadway Christian Church asked me to play with them as a guitar player, acoustic and electric. I played there for several until Hill-n Dale asked me come back and help them. During my time when not playing at my church, I play Bluegrass-Gospel in various bands, as needed playing a myriad of Bluegrass instruments, Mandolin, Dobro, Banjo, Bass, Harmonica and acoustic guitar. I am re3cently widowed and I teach music from my home studio. Music is my life. I al;so have over 40 years of instrument repair experience as “Greer’s Guitar”.

My CCM influences have been, Paul Baloche, Lincoln Brewster, Rueben Morgan, Ben Fielding, Ben Gowell, David Crowder, Matt Maher, Steve Fee and many, many others.
On the other side of music I like Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Carpenters, The Hollies, Crosby, Stills and Nash.
As well as Jimmy Dean, Jan and Dean, etc., etc., etc.. So many types of music, so nay people, I could go on forever.

I mentioned the 2 churches above. Many, many small venues with the Bluegrass guys and tons of places from high school through college and up to today. Been playing adult day care places lately with a bunch of old(er) me.
